Getting Started

Switching from another platform, setup time, and whether CheerVue fits your gym.

CheerVue is built exclusively for All-Star cheer. While Jackrabbit and iClassPro are general class management tools adapted for cheer, CheerVue includes purpose-built features like AI Team Builder, Tryout Evaluations with a 4-step workflow, Competition Travel AI, a 40+ tool AI Assistant, Placement Reveals, and Division compliance — features no other platform offers. Plus, our mobile app is included free (competitors charge $93-$299/month extra for theirs).
The CheerVue Assistant is a built-in AI with 40+ tools that reads your gym's data and takes action — so instead of clicking through screens, you can just ask. Staff and coaches can ask it to pull up a roster, check a family's balance, take attendance, create an event, or send an announcement or practice-change reminder to the right team — and it does it in seconds. Parents and athletes get their own assistant in the free app for questions about their schedule, payments, and team. Everyone only sees what they're allowed to — a parent's assistant knows their own family's information, never another family's or another gym's.
Yes. CheerVue is free for gyms with up to 40 active athletes with no per-athlete fees, so a new or smaller all-star program can run billing, scheduling, team communication, tryouts, and the free family mobile app without paying anything. Most owners finish setup in under 30 minutes with no sales call or training required, and there's no contract — so you grow into the paid Unlimited plan only when you're ready.
Absolutely. Our guided setup wizard is designed for mid-season transitions. You can import your existing teams, athletes, and fee structures and be up and running in minutes. Many gyms switch during the season without any disruption to their families.
Most gym owners complete initial setup in under 30 minutes. Our AI verifies your gym during signup, and the guided setup wizard walks you through creating your season, teams, and fee structures step by step. There's no training required and no sales call needed — just sign up and start.
CheerVue supports unlimited locations under a single account at no additional cost. Each location can have its own teams, schedules, and staff while sharing athletes and billing under one organization. Location-based check-in ensures athletes are marked present at the right facility.
Both — and it’s your choice. Your competitive team athletes can be checked in automatically: the free CheerVue app marks them present when they arrive at your gym, so there’s no kiosk to staff and no line at the door. When you do want a front-desk station, CheerVue also offers an optional check-in kiosk that runs on any iPad — no special hardware to buy. Your staff clock in and out with a secure PIN, and for open gym your front desk can check in walk-ins and use their punch pass right at the kiosk.

Plans & Pricing

What CheerVue costs, the technology fee, and no-contract terms.

CheerVue is free for gyms with up to 40 active athletes — no per-athlete fees and no time limit. Above 40 athletes, CheerVue Unlimited is $50/month with no commitment, or $420/year, which saves 30%. A 1.25% technology fee applies to parent payments, and your gym chooses how to handle it — absorb it, split it 50/50 with families, or pass it through — on top of standard card processing (2.9% + $0.30). There are no contracts and no cancellation fees.
The 1.25% technology fee helps support the CheerVue platform, including real-time notifications, AI features, and the premium mobile app experience for families, coaches, and staff. Your gym decides how that fee is handled on parent payments: absorb it, split it 50/50 with families, or pass it through. For example, on a $165 tuition payment, the technology fee is $2.06. Your gym can cover all $2.06, split it so families pay $1.03, or pass through the full $2.06. Your gym still receives the full $165 tuition amount before standard card processing fees.
No contracts and no cancellation fees. CheerVue is free for gyms with up to 40 active athletes. The unlimited plan is $50/month with no commitment, or $420/year (saving 30%) billed once for the full year. If you ever cancel the paid plan, your gym simply moves back to the Free plan — you're never locked out of your data.

Billing & Payments

Tuition, autopay, payment plans, crossovers, and processing fees.

Yes. CheerVue automates tuition, fees, and competition billing, and families can pay and view their full payment history in the free mobile app or online. Parents can save a card or bank account for automatic payments, so monthly tuition runs on its own and you spend less time chasing balances.
Yes. Set each team’s monthly tuition once — even different amounts for different months of the season — and CheerVue bills every family automatically, with autopay so you’re not chasing payments.
Yes. Families save a card or bank account and turn on autopay per team or payment plan. You can even require autopay for a team, with consent captured when they sign up, and failed cards retry automatically so a declined card doesn’t become a lost month.
Yes. Break any balance into a plan — spread evenly across the season or set custom monthly amounts — and it bills itself on schedule. Great for competition fees, uniforms, and camps.
Credit and debit cards, bank transfers (ACH), Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You can also record offline payments like cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle so every payment lives in one place.
You decide. Have families cover processing fees, absorb them yourself, or split them — and choose whether fees show as a clear line item or are bundled into one charge. Exact pricing is on our pricing page.
Yes. Beyond monthly tuition you can bill competition fees, choreography, music, uniforms, deposits, and any one-time charge — to a single athlete or an entire team at once.
For athletes on more than one team, CheerVue spreads the crossover fee across the remaining months of the season automatically, based on when each athlete joined — no spreadsheets or manual math.
Payments are processed by Stripe, a global leader in online payments trusted by millions of businesses. CheerVue never stores raw card numbers.

Tryouts & Teams

Tryout evaluations, team placement, competition travel, and video.

Tryouts and team placement are built into CheerVue, not bolted on. Coaches run a 4-step tryout evaluation on an iPad or laptop and can attach short video clips to tumbling, jumps, stunting, and dance scores. The AI Team Builder helps you assemble balanced teams from those scores, the Placement Reveal system lets you announce teams to families, and Dynamic Crossover Billing automatically handles athletes placed on more than one team. No other cheer platform offers this end to end.
Yes. CheerVue includes Competition Travel AI to help plan and coordinate competition weekends, and families get schedules, updates, and team communication right in the free mobile app. Everyone on a team stays on the same page — coaches, parents, and athletes — without group texts and scattered spreadsheets.
Coaches can attach short skill clips to tumbling, jumps, stunting, and dance scores while evaluating an athlete on an iPad or laptop. It works for tryouts and for year-round evaluations — mid-season checkpoints, level checks, pre-Worlds selection, private lessons, and custom evaluations. Tap Record or pick a clip from the library, and the upload runs in the background so coaches keep moving to the next athlete. Later, head coaches and gym owners can pull up an athlete and see clips alongside scores — perfect for placement conversations with parents, head-coach calibration across staff, and showing real progress over a full season.

Classes, Camps & Lessons

Tumbling, open gym, camps, clinics, and private lessons.

Yes — and it's one of the most complete parts of CheerVue. Run weekly classes, open gym, skills clinics, and summer camps from one screen. Families can pay monthly, drop in for a single day, or book a full camp session, and sibling and member discounts apply automatically. Built-in waitlists, makeup credits for missed classes, and waivers signed before checkout all come standard.
Yes — it's a complete private-lesson management system. Families pick a coach and book a single lesson, a series of sessions, or a standing weekly lesson on autopay, and the coach gets a push notification for every booking, reschedule, and cancellation. There's no charge until each lesson is actually finished, refunds for late cancellations are calculated automatically, you can sell discounted lesson credit packs, and availability can be managed per coach or run from the office.

The Mobile App

The free app for families, athletes, coaches, and staff.

Yes — the free CheerVue mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play. It works hand-in-hand with the web dashboard — families and athletes get their schedules, team chat, payment history, and travel coordination right on their phone. Once they accept your gym's invitation, they're connected instantly.
Yes. The CheerVue app is free to download on iOS and Android, and it comes included with every CheerVue plan — including the free plan for gyms with up to 40 active athletes. Parents, athletes, and coaches all use the same app, and gyms never pay extra for it.
Parents see their athlete's practice and competition schedule, get instant notifications when anything changes, chat with their team, RSVP to events with one tap, pay tuition and fees, and view their full payment history — all in one place, without group texts or paper handouts.
Download CheerVue free from the App Store or Google Play, then sign in with the invitation your gym sends you. If your gym doesn't use CheerVue yet, let them know — gyms can start free with up to 40 active athletes.
Yes. Coaches and gym staff use the same app to message their teams, send announcements, check schedules, and stay on top of RSVPs — while the full web dashboard handles billing, rosters, tryouts, and everything else behind the scenes. The app and the dashboard always show the same information.
Chat apps only handle messages. CheerVue is a cheer gym app connected to your gym's actual schedule, billing, and rosters — so a schedule change made in the office instantly updates every family's app, payment reminders go to exactly the right parents, and new team members are added automatically. Nothing has to be maintained twice.
Yes. CheerVue is built first for All-Star cheer, and it also runs tumbling classes, open gym, skills clinics, camps, and private lessons — so gyms that offer both cheer and gymnastics programs can manage everything with one app.

Security & Your Data

How your gym’s data is isolated, protected, and kept private.

Clips are stored securely and are only accessible through CheerVue with a time-limited private link — never a public URL. Visibility is gym staff only by default; other families never see another athlete's clips. Your gym admin chooses how long clips are kept (30, 60, 90 days, or forever) and acknowledges a consent disclosure before any video can be captured. Coaches cannot record until that setup is complete, so video of minors is never captured by accident.
Yes. CheerVue uses a strict multi-tenant architecture where every gym organization is completely isolated. Competing gyms can never see each other's data — athletes, teams, finances, or communications. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and we follow industry-standard security practices.
