How CheerVue collects consent for text messages
When We Collect Consent
CheerVue collects consent for SMS when you provide your phone number. This happens in these places:
- Account creation: When you create a parent or staff account, you enter your phone number. By providing it and completing signup, you consent to receive SMS.
- Program enrollment: When you enroll in a program or add a billing contact, you may provide a phone number. You consent to receive billing and payment-related SMS.
- Profile setup: When you add or update your phone number in your profile, you consent to receive SMS for account verification, billing, and payment links.
What You Consent To
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from CheerVue for:
- Account verification (OTP): One-time codes to sign in securely
- Billing notifications: Payment due reminders and account updates
- Payment links: Secure links to pay your bill
